Fukuoka, the capital of Kyushu region, is also the origin of Tonkotsu (pork bone soup) ramen.
One of must-visit spots in Fukuoka is “Yatai” food stalls appearing on evening across the city. Very central night district Nakasu area is one of the places where we can find many choices of Yatai. Many of them have English menu.
Try some local dishes with beer and/or local distilled alcohol, Shochu, by hopping around some stalls.
